1.Connect your card to your machine
2.Open 'My Computer' and then right-click the icon of removeable disk
3.Click 'Properties' and then click 'Tools'
4.Under 'Error-Checking', click 'Check Now'
5.A dialog box will appear, select 'Automatically Fix File System Errors' and then click 'Start'
If the above steps do not fix the issue with the SD card, you are left with the only option of formatting the SD card. If a backup is available, one need not bother about the data loss.
